  Their mutual funds are terrible go elsewhere! I bought mine in 2006 and just got rid of them in 2016, and somehow lost money! When I initially bought them I got ones that charged fees up front (a type of fund) as well as a percentage yearly (typical fund charge for managing mutual funds) It was sold as a "set it and forget it" investment when I bought it. With the underlying idea that markets, over enough time, will always go up, likely at a rate higher than a savings account. However PNC were asshats. The individual that was suppose to be in charge of my fund vanished, switching me to a general PNC fund, getting terrible returns... without my knowledge! I was informed of this when I walked into a branch to check in on it. That branch individual reluctantly (apparently I was small potatoes) put the account under his portfolio to help me out, but the same thing happened again! It doesn't end there. After a couple years I got a notice that I needed to make at least one trade a year or get charged $50! WTF? Their cut was to do trades for me! I finally decided to get the hell out of PNC investments after I went to make my yearly $1 trade to avoid the $50 fee and they didn't do it. The guy I talked to in person held off doing the trade I requested until it was too late because he thought he had sold me on switching it to a different investment. I didn't create the follow-up appointment he requested because it was Christmas season, and frankly I really wasn't interested. I paid for his ambition. They stuck me one last time when I left. They charged me $100 to close my account. It's my money why the F would you charge me to take it out? RUN AWAY FROM PNC INVESTMENTS
